Throughout the FASTEAM project, several innovative tools and resources have been developed to support stronger collaboration between schools and families in STEAM education. These outcomes translate the project’s vision into practical, accessible materials that can be used by teachers, parents, and children alike. Each tool has been co-created with educators and families across Europe, ensuring that they are culturally adaptable, inclusive, and engaging. Together, these resources aim to make learning more interactive, creative, and connected — inspiring families and educators to nurture curiosity and confidence in every child.
Together Tool

The Together Tool is designed to strengthen collaboration and communication between teachers and families. It provides structured activities, conversation prompts, and reflection guides that help parents and educators work hand in hand to support children’s learning. By promoting shared understanding and dialogue, the tool builds bridges between home and school, ensuring that everyone involved feels confident and connected in nurturing students’ growth in STEAM subjects.
STEAM Storytime with Experiments
STEAM Storytime with Experiments is an inspiring educational guide that combines storytelling with simple, hands-on experiments. Each story introduces scientific or artistic concepts through engaging narratives that spark children’s curiosity and imagination. Families and teachers can then carry out the related experiments together, turning reading moments into playful learning experiences. This approach helps children link creativity and science naturally, encouraging exploration, empathy, and joy in discovery.

Online Family Challenges Platform
The Online Family Challenges Platform offers a collection of interactive and fun STEAM challenges that families can do together, both at home and in the classroom. Each challenge is designed to be accessible, inclusive, and adaptable for different age groups, making science and creativity a shared adventure. Through collaboration, problem-solving, and imagination, families learn to see how STEAM concepts connect to everyday life — strengthening curiosity, confidence, and teamwork along the way.
Teacher Training Programme
The Teacher Training Programme equips educators with practical tools and culturally responsive strategies to engage families in meaningful ways. Through workshops, reflection activities, and shared learning sessions, teachers explore how to create inclusive environments that welcome diverse perspectives and experiences. This training helps educators design activities that connect with students’ home cultures and interests, empowering them to foster stronger relationships with families and promote deeper, more equitable participation in STEAM education.
